Parent and Carers FAQ

Find out the answers to frequently asked questions by parents, including questions about admissions, studying and the school day.

Pupils can arrive at school from 8.50am.  Learning will begin at 9.00am and the school day ends at 3.00pm.

Children have the option to bring a packed lunch or to purchase a school dinner.  Children who qualify for free school meals will be provided with a school meal.

For lower school there is a choice of a black or navy-blue sweater or cardigan, black bottoms and a polo shirt or t-shirt.  There is also an option to buy a zip up fleece.

For upper school there is a choice of a black or navy-blue sweater or V-neck knit jumper, black bottoms and a polo shirt or t-shirt.  There is also an option to buy a zip up fleece.

Black shoes or trainers are preferred.

Staff will endeavour to find any lost items of clothing, but to ensure that this does not happen please write or stitch your child’s name into their uniform, particularly jumpers.  If an item of clothing does get lost, simply contact the school and we will do out best to find it.

We would discourage parents and carers from contacting their class teacher in the morning, as they will be busy preparing learning resources for the school day.  It is better to call with any queries after 3.00pm.  Class staff will call home regularly with updates about your child’s progress and learning and will additionally communicate through Class Dojo.
