Vision, Mission & Core Values
Our school vision
At Milton we want all our pupils and families to feel part of a community where care and learning are at the heart of all we do.
Pupils first – all decisions are made in the best interests of our pupils
Preparation for life – supporting pupils to live happy, successful, safe and independent lives beyond school
Belonging and safety – providing a warm, safe and welcoming environment where pupils feel they belong and are proud to attend
Partnership working – working closely with families and external professionals to support every pupil’s development
Dignity and respect – ensuring every pupil receives a high-quality education and is treated with compassion, kindness and sincerity
Diversity and inclusion – being non-judgemental and celebrating diversity in all its forms
Equal opportunities – committed to equality, fairness and inclusion across our whole community
Ambition and achievement – removing barriers to learning so all pupils can reach their potential, feel success and be proud
Skilled and supported staff – investing in our staff so they have the skills, knowledge and resources to deliver the best care and teaching
Our 3 school values are:
Be Creative

Be Kind

Be Proud

Our school values are fundamental in providing the ‘feel’ of our school. We talk about and celebrate displaying our values daily. We expect all pupils and staff to live these values and to keep them alive in school and the community we serve.
