Curriculum pathway – Pioneer

Characteristics of learners:

  • For those pupils who can engage with subject specific learning based on the National Curriculum.  
  • Priorities on this pathway are for pupils to develop their social skills, communication and life skills.  
  • These pupils can aim for end of KS2 statutory assessments. 
  • These pupils will aim to take part end of KS4 examinations related to A.R.E. 
  • All pupils have an EHCP 
  • Reading ages are at ARE or pupils are significantly making chronological gains overtime.  
  • Typically, by the end of KS2 pupils are demonstrating writing and skills and mathematical knowledge withing the KS2 curriculum, Y3 onwards.
